Nissan Note 1.2 PETROL HYBRID AUTO E POWER

The Nissan Note e-POWER is a compact 5-door hatchback that uses Nissan’s innovative e-POWER electrified powertrain. It feels like an electric car to drive — smooth, responsive, quiet — but you never plug it in. Instead, a small petrol engine generates electricity to power the electric motor that actually drives the wheels.

Unlike a conventional hybrid, where petrol and electric motors can both drive the wheels, the Note’s e-POWER system works like this:

• A powerful electric motor (the only one that drives the wheels) gives instant torque and smooth acceleration from a stop.
